He’s an amateur golfer with a handicap of 11.3 and is a member of the Leuk Golf Club. He has been a passionate player of golf for 8 years. The challenge of being the first Swiss golfer to visit all 94 ASG golf clubs and play all 1557 holes fascinated him from the start.

The idea of the Swiss golf record and Swiss Charity Golf Tour 2009 was inspired by Ricky Bartlet’s New Zealand Charity Tour in 2006/2007. Ricky Bartlett played 419 rounds of golf on all courses in New Zealand within a year, collecting 75,000 New Zealand dollars for charities. His joys and sorrows inspired Ursin Mirer, the initiator at swigo AG, who succeeded to persuade Mr. Haas to golf the tour. Kurt Hass plays with a Royal Open Course Timer & GMT from Jaermann & Stübi.
